Purpose/Intent (Problem It Solves):
Hawk DeCloud is a decentralized cloud storage platform designed to tackle data security, privacy violations, and storage limitations seen in centralized cloud storage solutions (like Google Drive, Dropbox, and iCloud). It aims to provide users with secure, Web3-enabled storage that allows for data ownership, privacy compliance, and seamless collaboration across multiple devices.
Key Problems Addressed:
- Centralized Cloud Security Issues: Risk of hacks, data breaches, and third-party misuse.
- High Costs & Hardware Limitations in Web3 Storage: Many Web3 storage services require expensive infrastructure.
- Privacy Violations by Tech Giants: Traditional cloud providers often train AI models on user data without consent.
Hawk DeCloud solves these issues by integrating AI-powered decentralized storage, IPFS technology, and Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) for privacy protection. The platform will also reward users with tokens for sharing storage space and enable AI-assisted file management and collaboration.
