Project Name
Digital Asset Network (D.A.N.)
2. Purpose & Intent
D.A.N aims to revolutionize digital ownership by enabling seamless and efficient tokenization of assets across multiple industries. While NFTs initially gained traction in art, gaming, and collectibles, their adoption in real-world industries like real estate, supply chain, and intellectual property (IP) has been slow due to infrastructure inefficiencies. Dan seeks to solve this by providing a protocol layer that facilitates asset movement across chains, industry-specific APIs, and a standardization framework to simplify adoption—similar to how Shopify transformed e-commerce.
Key focus areas include:
- Improving liquidity of digital assets – Allowing multiple financial instruments to be used simultaneously on a single asset (e.g., borrowing capital while renting out a digital property).
- Interoperability – Enabling assets to move independently of specific blockchains or protocols.
- Enterprise Adoption – Standardizing workflows to help businesses tokenize assets efficiently.
D.A.N. has already launched Stream NFT (for gaming and art collectibles) and Ed3 (for tokenized educational assets). The project has seen adoption by 50+ games, a music platform, and hospitality businesses.
3. Why Layer One X Blockchain?
D.A.N. chose Layer One X because of its unique interoperability features, which allow seamless movement of assets, data, and logic across EVM and non-EVM blockchains without traditional bridges. This aligns with Dan’s goal of making digital ownership truly chain-agnostic and universal. The team also values the L1X community and the Hackathon as a way to gather validation and business opportunities while supporting developers building on the network.
